              The famous Jersey Shore is just one of the many reasons people come to New Jersey.  Sea Girt, a beachfront town was founded in 1875. In the summer, thousands crowd the Sea Girt beaches for some sun and surfing, while others choose to spend their days walking along the boardwalk, enjoying a spectacular view of the Atlantic Ocean. Golfers can spend summer days on the various public golf courses located within minutes of the area.

            The Sea Girt Light House is at the north end of town, and it holds many events every season like the New Jersey Light House Challenge and International Light House Weekend. The Light House is located at Ocean Avenue and Beacon Boulevard, and its one of 20 lighthouses still standing today in New Jersey. Just down the block is the famous Parker House where Jersey Shore visitors have met for generations. In town, you’ll find our office as well as various restaurants including Rods Tavern and Harrigan’s Pub.

 The Real Estate market* in Sea Girt this year is a surprising contrast to what we hear about on the national news. In 2007 Sea Girt saw a better than average year with 56 single family homes sold. The average sale price was 1,646,239.

 So far in 2008 we are seeing continued strong activity with 18 homes sold or under contract through mid march. As of March there were 37 homes on the market ranging from $630,000 to $8,200,000.
